Daycare

Yesterday when I went to pick up the boys at Daycare, one of the ladies had taken a picture of Kyle playing with the blocks.

He spent quite a bit of time putting the blocks in, and then taking them out again. He started doing this a few days ago....Mike and I are always putting toys / balls down his shirt, and I guess he has caught on.

Warmer Weather....

This past weekend was the beginning of warmer weather. We headed out to the park, which the boys loved.

Here is a picture of Kyle with his glasses. He does not keep them on for very long, but hopefully he will start to get used to them.

Our day at Sick Kids...

Last Thursday Kyle had his appointment to be sedated and his eyes all checked out. We had to be down at Sick Kids by 6:00 am. The only good this about that is it was early enough that Kyle was not hungry. They took him to the OR without any tears or even a second thought for me. An hour later he went to recovery and I was able to spend some time with him before he was discharged. The outcome is he does need glasses. We went and tried on glasses (there are not that many options for babies his size) and they are on order. They should arrive in the next couple of days. I will post pictures when he gets them.

The boys went and saw the Easter Bunny last weekend....Kyle loved him and wanted to stay and play with him, Christopher was very unsure of him. You can probably tell which baby is which....

Moving and Moving and Moving

Both boys are on the move....
Kyle will take a couple of steps on his own and is climbing onto chairs, couches or anything.
Christopher has been climbing for a while now and is learning that he must sit down and not jump on the couch. He still tests us to see if we are watching, but I think that is normal.

We finally had our appointment with the Speech Pathologist and she is not worried about the boys. She did give us some great ideas on helping them learn, but pretty much they are coming along. Kyle is stills saying "What's that" a million times a day, and Christopher is learning from him. He only says it 1/2 million times, but babbles quite a bit.
