Summer Time, Summer Time

We were off a couple of weeks in July, which we spent at the cottage. Kyle and Christopher really enjoy being up there with Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Leigh Ann. They have started to really enjoy swimming, going to visit their cousins next door and especially going for golf cart rides with Grandpa.

We took them to Santa's Village the last week of our vacation and they liked a few of the rides and seeing the animals.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

The boys celebrated their 2nd birthday on July 16th. It was a beautiful day...lots of great weather and lots of great family and friends.

Since the boys are into animals and animal sounds, I made a farm cake complete with farm animals. (although the sheep kind of look like dogs).

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to the cottage.

1st Birthday Present received

The boys received their 1st birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa M. (sand was given by Auntie Leigh Ann)

Of course it is only fun if you are sitting right in the sand.

Happy Canada Day!

We spent this Canada day at the cottage. We had an extra long weekend also taking Monday off. The boys loved being in the pool and swimming in the very cold lake. We had perfect weather for the fireworks display.....which we did a few at 7:30 for the boys.

Daycare

Yesterday when I went to pick up the boys at Daycare, one of the ladies had taken a picture of Kyle playing with the blocks.

He spent quite a bit of time putting the blocks in, and then taking them out again. He started doing this a few days ago....Mike and I are always putting toys / balls down his shirt, and I guess he has caught on.
