updates / pictures of the boys, but it has been a very busy summer.
The boys are running and in to everything. They turned 2 on July
16th...I know....where does the time go to? We have had to separate
the boys at night, so if one wakes up, he does not wake up the other
one....this is usually Christopher who wakes up and wakes Kyle up.
Kyle is a very happy boy who loves his books. He is wearing glasses
now, and is keeping them on all day at daycare, but takes them off in
the car on the way home. He says dada, mama and Clock. Don't ask me
where the clock came from, but he points them out anytime we walk into
a room or open a book with one in it. He also just doesn't say it, he
yells it. We are trying to teach him to whisper it....not working so
far.
Christopher is also very happy....loves to cuddle and talk on the
phone. He is talking a lot...we just cannot understand it. He says
mama, dada and just recently said grandpa, book, diaper and baby. He makes all the animal
sounds. He loves dogs and if we are outside he wants to kiss all dogs
that walk by our house.
We have put both boys in swimming lessons, and they seem to love
it....as long as the water is warm enough. (they do not have a lot of
fat on them to keep them warm)
They have seen a speech therapist, but now they are 2, I think we will
be doing more for with them. The early interventionist in York Region
wants them to also go back to see a PT. She still sees stiffness in
their muscles.
Their Kidney stones are still there and Christopher seems to have
developed more since our last visit to Sick Kids....so they may just
end up zapping them....we will see at our next visit.
