Oh my goodness....as the boys would say...it has almost been a year since my
last post....and everyone keeps asking me "when are you going to update the
blog" so here it is....
Kyle
Kyle is doing a lot of talking....actually he never shuts-up. A lot of "Why's?" and "What are you doing?" are being asked. He loves to sing songs, and tell you what Christopher is not doing right. He is in private speech therapy, but tonight will be his last session. He is also in Physio, and have been working with him at home to strengthen his core and legs.
In November he broke his glasses, but was scheduled to be sedated to check his prescription 2 weeks later so he went without glasses for about a month. (he would not open his eyes for the doctor, so that is why he was sedated). His prescription changed a little bit.
Kyle's favorite songs include;
O'Canada
Daddy's Rusty Car
Twinkle Twinkle
Kyle's Favorite sayings;
I love that one
My Favorite
I need a timbit
Christopher
Christopher is not talking as much, but getting better each day. He is also in private speech therapy and will be for some time. We are working on his articulation. He loves to help to the laundry, empty the dishwasher, and set the table. Actually he just loves to be the helper. He has learned how to put the TV on, change the input and play a movie. He also loves his money...he actually sleeps with his wallet. He is also very stubborn. Not sure where he gets that from? He also is a jumping machine. He just stands in one spot and jumps. The lady that takes care of them through the day counted one time, and he jumped 100 times.
Christopher's favorite sayings;
Oh My Goodness
More money
me do it
Both boys have been sick this past month with Bronchitis and the flu, but we have avoided being admitted to the hospital.
