After two hours of ultrasounds and a long, looooong wait we managed to have an audience with Dr. Greg Ryan, director of fetal medicine at Mt Sinai. The ultrasounds (AKA us) detected a membrane between the identical twins, which made them a lower risk. Crown-rump measurements were taken as well as nuchal scans to determine the presence of Down syndrome. Our little tribbles (in homage to the new Star Trek movie next week!) measured A - 6.9, B - 6.9 and C - 7.4 cm. Dr. Ryan doesn't want to see us again because we're not a high enough risk - great news!!
We see the new doctor on May 12th for more ultrasounds (sorry, that's "us").
